Historic Blountstown Main Street's mission is to preserve the past, nourish the present, to watch the future flourish with the community at heart.

Set in the Downtown Blountstown district, Historic Blountstown Main Street is the heart of our community. Main Street plays host to several major community events throughout the year as locals and visitors alike mingle with friends and family while enjoying our great CITY OF SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY.

Historic Blountstown Main Street wants to invite you to become a part of the rehabilitation and rebirth of our Downtown area. Chief John Blolunt settled a small 4 mile by 2 mile area of land after his service to General Andrew Jackson. Since then, the town and community have grown. A town responds like a living organism; if it isn't tended to, it will wilt and die. Historic Blountstown has support from the City of Blountstown and is recognized not only state wide but nationwide. We have much work ahead of us, and it will take a community to do it. We still have work to do to cultivate & enhance our downtown redevelopment, but with your partnership we can continue striving to reach our mission.
